Quiet Forest is a design that was inspired by a Japanese screen Paul Montgomery had seen in the Freer Gallery as a young man.  He had always wanted to do something with the idea, and finally he got the chance to produce Quiet Forest.  The style of trees are quite a departure from the usual chinoiserie.
